Trying to decide on a carry conceal weapon?
lets cover some models and checking for reliability..
I just bought brand x for my cw, how do I know I can trust it?
Simple fire at a minimum 100 rounds of the type of bullet you will be using, also a few hundred chepo bullets to check for issues... No issues= probably ok.. PROBABLY, yes, there are no guarantees EVER...
What brand do I get.... simple not a hi point.. kel-tec, smith and wesson, khar, glock, colt, ruger, etc..
then test it as described above.
personally, I want 9+ rounds, I want the gun to be light weight, I want it compact.. that simple..
I will not get into the caliber debate..
Bullet choice, for me, gold dot...
You brought up some good points, although I would recommend looking at a Lot of different weapons. Find the weapon that "feels" right in YOUR hand, and one that also Points well. I can't remember how many weapons that I looked at and held, only to keep coming back to the Sig-Sauer P229. Good luck in your search and keep an Open mind.
